Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 2026. Plain-language terms for using tgbagupta.com and the TGB app, and starting a project with TGB.

Who you're dealing with

TGB is a network of independent freelance developers based in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, coordinated through this website and the TGB app (Android, iOS, and web/desktop). When you submit a project inquiry — through either — you're reaching the network — the actual engagement is with whichever developer(s) get matched to your project, agreed directly with you before any work starts.

Using this website & app

The content here — service descriptions, portfolio details, blog posts, budget guides — is provided for general information. It doesn't constitute a binding quote or contract on its own. A real project only begins once scope, timeline, and cost are agreed in writing between you and the developer(s) taking it on. The app reuses the same content and backend as the website — nothing in the app carries different terms.

The AI assistant

The chat assistant (on the website and in the app) is powered by Google's Gemini API and can explain services, take inquiries, and log call-booking requests. It's a helpful first step, not a substitute for a real scoping conversation — treat anything it tells you about pricing or timelines as indicative, not final.

Estimates & payment

After scoping, you get a fixed estimate and timeline before any code is written. Neither the website nor the app processes payments directly — payment terms and methods are arranged separately, directly with the developer(s) handling your project.

Intellectual property

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, you receive full ownership of the code and IP for your project on delivery and full payment. Until then, work-in-progress code remains the developer's property. TGB's own content and software — website copy and design, the playground's example code, blog posts, and the TGB app itself — is TGB's property and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission.

Confidentiality

An NDA can be signed before scoping begins if you need one — just ask through the contact form or the AI assistant.

Blog comments & site reviews

Comments on blog posts and ratings/reviews of the site are screened for spam and abuse before appearing, but they're otherwise your own words — publishing one doesn't make it TGB's statement or endorsement. Keep them genuine and relevant; we may remove or decline to publish anything spammy, abusive, or unrelated. Don't submit anything here you don't want shown publicly with your name attached.

No guaranteed outcomes

We build software to the agreed spec, to a professional standard, and stand behind our work — but we can't guarantee specific business outcomes (revenue, user growth, etc.) that depend on factors outside the software itself.

App store terms

If you downloaded the TGB app from Google Play or the App Store, that platform's own terms of service also apply to your use of it, in addition to these terms. The TGB app is free to download and use — we don't charge for it, run ads in it, or sell in-app purchases.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TGB and its developers aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website, the app, or their content. Liability for any actual project engagement is governed by that project's own written agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Uttar Pradesh having jurisdiction over any dispute related to this website or app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the website, app, or network evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the website or app means you accept the current terms.
